Munich 2013 is just around the corner and we will finally gather together soon for what will certainly be one of the most exciting experiences of our lives.
The theme of the session is very close to me and I hope to you all as well. We will be dealing with what I believe to be some of the most important subjects of debate. Hopefully finding solutions for these issues will keep our generation very busy, so that future ones will not have to worry about them too much any more.
I am confident we are the ones who can make a difference and set a new pace into how resources are used sustainably and protected from degradation, being these environmental as much as human, economic or cultural.
I strongly believe Munich 2013 will be a turning point for our generation, mainly by creating the space for us to develop a new approach to the discussion on resources, one that hopefully will shape not only our way of dealing with these issues, but that of many generations to come.
On behalf of all the Officials, we can’t wait for you to join us in this exciting and adventurous challenge, to resource Europe, to return down to Earth.
